For several years, international students have been contributing to the special character of Glendowie College.  They are a strong academic school that takes pride in the high achievements of its students and provides support and encouragement for them to succeed in their studies. 

At Years 9 and 10 Glendowie College is offering the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) as its learning framework.  This is an internationally recognised course of study that integrates with the New Zealand Curriculum.

In Years 12 and 13 students undertake the New Zealand based and internationally recognised NCEA qualification.
